Tapestry of Promise Catholic Conference
St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Ann Arbor, MI
Thursday November 19th - Saturday 21st, 2026
Inspired by the call of The Most Reverend Bishop Boyea to make 2026 the "Year of the Bible," the Tapestry of Promise conference invites you to deepen your understanding of the beautiful way in which Jesus, the Incarnate Word, is prefigured by the events of the Old Testament – a tapestry woven by God from the people and events of the Old Covenant. We invite you to grow in faith through the Sacraments, sacred music, and the dynamic teaching of learned and charismatic speakers.
A Three-Day Catholic Conference
This conference explores three powerful ways Jesus reveals Himself through the beautiful prefigurations of the Old Testament:
Thursday — Through His Church
Friday — Through His Mother
Saturday — In Himself and in the Eucharist
The prefiguration of Christ in Sacred Scripture is one of the richest treasures of our Catholic faith. It sets our hearts on fire with the joy of the unity and sublime depth of God’s plan of salvation.
We have gathered some of the most powerful and effective speakers in the Church today to share this beauty with you — so that your own heart may burn within you as you encounter Christ in Scripture, in His Mother, in His Church, and in the Holy Eucharist.
Breakout Sessions
The conference will feature twenty dynamic breakout sessions presented by inspiring speakers from across the nation. These sessions will cover a wide variety of timely and important topics for today’s Catholics.
Breakouts will be offered in four time slots throughout the conference, with five concurrent sessions in each slot, giving you meaningful choices tailored to your interests and calling.
Speaker invitations are currently being confirmed. We will update the full schedule and speaker list regularly as confirmations come in.
Workshops
Workshops offer intimate, small-group settings where you can explore how the Holy Spirit is calling Catholics to serve. Experienced ministries from across southeast Michigan will share their expertise in areas such as pro-life ministry, prison ministry, Stephen Ministry, and other vital apostolates. You’ll also find workshops on specific devotions and spiritual disciplines.
Come to learn practical insights, hear real stories from those already living the call, and engage in meaningful discussion with fellow attendees. These workshops are a powerful way to deepen your own vocation while building relationships that strengthen the whole Body of Christ.
