      • Kim Cameron-Smith

Kim Cameron-Smith lives in Northern California with her husband Philip and their 4 children. She has homeschooled her children since 2003. Kim and Philip embrace the principles of attachment-based parenting as they seek to live a family-centered lifestyle. Kim believes that Catholic theology perfects what is already just and beautiful in secular insights about how children thrive. Kim is a licensed attorney and a member of the California State Bar. She holds a B.A. in English from Wellesley College, an M.Phil. in Medieval Literature from Oxford University, an M.T.S. (theology) from Harvard University, and a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley. Kim is a catechist in her parish and a leader of her local Little Flowers Girls Club. She is a regular contributor on the topic of “conscious Catholic parenting” on Gregory and Lisa Popcak’s radio program More2Life, which is produced by Ave Maria Radio. She writes a family homeschooling blog at www.firstheralds.com. You may contact Kim at kim@catholicap.com.

          • intentional catholic parenting - The domestic church is called to build a community of love which fosters true communion and connection. When we choose to create this kind of communion and connection in our families, we discover that joy, hope, and Christian perfection grow – not only in each of the family members individually but in the family as a mystical person. Others around us can’t help but look at our families and sigh, “Look at those Christians, how they love.” This is why John Paul II saw the family as crucial to the future of humanity: without strong, loving families, society will drift and suffer. • Tabor Life institute - The Tabor Life Institute is dedicated to the sacramental-liturgical worldview of the human person and of the entire created order. This is a worldview which in fact holds the answer to all of life’s questions precisely because it is the most honest and fully integrated vision of reality. The sacramental-liturgical worldview, therefore, has an immense capacity to liberate and to transform people’s lives, at times even instantly. Pope John Paul II’s theology of the body is the principle delivery system for this sacramental, liturgical worldview. Along with the teachings of Pope John Paul II, the Tabor Life institute incorporates the sum total of the spiritual wisdom of the Church both east and west, irrefutable science, personal testimonies, and common sense in presentations that are fully integrated and comprehensive. The Tabor Life Institute presenters come from both the Roman Catholic and Eastern Catholic spiritual and liturgical traditions. This greatly contributes to Tabor’s special capacity for fully integrated presentations of the sacramental-liturgical worldview. The Tabor Life Institute specializes in compassionately yet forthrightly bringing honesty, clarity and perspective to the most controversial and delicate issues related to the entire experience of human sexuality. Therefore, youth, disenfranchised Christians and non-believers are a particular concern and focus of our work. The Tabor Life Institute was founded in 2003 by Catherine Baranko who serves as its current President. We are also members of TOBIA, (Theology of the Body International Alliance.) Her next book, Everyday Theology of the Body: Meditations on the Mysteries and Manners of the Sacramental Worldview is forthcoming from Emmaus Road Press in August 2013. As a contributing editor to Our Sunday Visitor Newsweekly, a blogger for CatholicVote.com, and a columnist for Lay Witness, Emily writes regularly on “all things Catholic”—from politics and catechesis to higher education and the media, with a special focus on the Church’s teachings on marriage, sexuality, and femininity. • The Catholic Girl's Survival Guide for the Single Years - Three parts sexual license, two parts corporate ladder, with a dash of Monolo Blahnik. If a woman’s single years were a cocktail, that would be the culture’s preferred recipe. Alternatively, there’s two parts husband-hunting novena, one part weeping and gnashing of teeth, with a generous splash of "Offer It Up"—a concoction that makes for a more sanctifying albeit equally unsatisfying brew. Then, there’s this book. Equal parts fun and faithful, The Catholic Girl’s Survival Guide is chock full of practical insights on the nitty-gritty “how to” of the single years, helping women address some of the most pressing questions on their plate, including: Why am I still single? Is there any such thing as a “Single Vocation”? What is authentic femininity and what’s so great about it in the first place? How do I date as an adult without losing my sanity or my soul? Why shouldn’t I throw in the towel on chastity? How do I make decisions about school, work, and finances when there's no husband or babies on the immediate horizon? How do I deal with all my married friends and their children? And what does it take to battle the Single Girl Blues? As hopeful as it is honest, The Catholic Girl’s Survival Guide for the Single Years is the perfect companion for women whose journey to “I do” is turning out to be a longer one than they (or their mothers) would have liked.

      • Bill Donaghy , Theology of the Body Institute

Bill completed the Institute' Speakers Training program in 2005 and our Head & Heart Immersion Course in January 2006. Bill's presentation of Introduction to Theology of the Body has been described as "riveting" and " life -changing". He applies his Masters Degree in Systematic Theology along with his extensive minstry work and love for the Church and its teachings to present John Paul II' s Theology of the Body to your community. Bill has worked in the fields of mission and evangelization in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia since 1999. Through his work with the Pontifical Mission Societies, Bill has given hundreds of talks on the spirituality of mission to young people throughout the greater Philadelphia area and beyond. He has experienced the love of Christ in the missions of Haiti, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic as well as within the realms of Young Adult and Parish ministry in Philadelphia. In October of 2000, Bill was chosen to represent his country in a special tribute for the Jubilee of Missionaries in Rome. He was given a simple cross by Pope John Paul II and called by the Holy Father to “bring Jesus back to your country.” He is filled with a passion for his faith and dedicated to spreading the joy of the New Evangelization. Bill's talks range from the mystery of the Eucharist, the Theology of the Body, and the art of prayer, to living a dynamic Catholic life in our present culture. Believing Adult Faith Formation to be an integral part of the New Evangelization, he's developed the six-week course "Into the Deep," which unpacks the major themes of Pope John Paul II's vision for the New Millennium. Bill holds an Associates Degree in Visual Arts, a Bachelors in Philosophy and a Masters in Systematic Theology. He teaches theology at Malvern Prepatory High School and Immaculata University in Exton, PA. He is also an instructor for the Theology of the Body Institute's Certification Program. Bill and his wife, Rebecca, live in Lansdowne, PA with their two children.
