Celebrating St. Teresa’s 500th Birthday

The secular Carmelites in Ann Arbor (St. John of the Cross Fraternity) invite you to join them in celebrating the 500th birthday of St. Teresa of Jesus (also known as St. Teresa of Avila). This is a free family-oriented event of fun, games, and eats with opportunities to learn more about the life and spirituality of this great mystic, founder, and Doctor of the Church. The party will be held in the Parish Center (the red barn across the street from the church). Preceded by Mass at 9:00 AM in the church. All are welcome.

Lenten Retreat

St. Matthew Parish in Flint will be hosting a one day Lenten Retreat on Saturday, February 28th. We are delighted to have Catholic apologist, Gary Michuta, be our guest speaker. Gary has given hundreds of talks, classes and seminars around the country. He has also written several books and is a frequent guest on Catholic radio. The day will include two informative talks, lunch, confession and Mass at 4:30. It is essential to RSVP to the parish office (810-232-0880) by February 23rd, in order to have an accurate count for lunch. A goodwill donation of $10 is recommended.
