Michigan Catholic Young Adult Conference

The Michigan Catholic Young Adult Conference (March 28-29, 2014) is for young Catholics or those interested in the Catholic faith, from all walks of life to come together annually to grow in their faith and commitment to Christ. All young adults, ages 18-39, married, single, those in religious life, those searching, are welcome.

Bringing young adults into closer relationship with Jesus Christ through an adult understanding and practice of their Catholic faith.

The Michigan Catholic Young Adult Conference begins with a Friday evening of reflection, ending with Eucharistic Adoration and social gathering. It continues on Saturday with insightful and inspiring keynotes and small workshops to help deepen your knowledge of and relationship with Christ and the Catholic Church.Presentations include a Spanish track.

Keynote Speakers: Dr. timone Davis and Dr. Dan Keating

Presentations in include:

~ “What Is True Sexual Freedom?” by Dr. Dan Keating, Associate Professor of Theology at Sacred Heart Seminary, Detroit, MI

~”Discipleship in the Global Community” by Andrew Pawuk, International Program Director for International Samaritan, Ann Arbor, MI

~”Campus Ministry Leaders In-Service: The Six Aspects of Campus Ministry”

~”St. Paul Street Evangelization” by Steve Dawson, Jr., Director of St. Paul Street Evangelization

~Vocation Panel: Come and hear the stories of men and women who are discerning a vocation or who have responded to a call to Marriage, Priesthood, Religious Life, and Consecrated Virginity. Panelists will be answering your questions, so bring general and specific questions for any or all of them!
