Christian prayer gathering at the Fuerst Park flag pole in Novi (by the High School) as an expression of faith and thanksgiving to God, and to support our Christian students and teachers in public schools.
Songs start at 11:00 am followed by prayer led by area faith leaders, moms, dads, and high school students….

Annual Peaceful, prayer vigil for 40 continuous days beginning Wed. American Heritage Girls Troop MI1505 Parent Information and Girl Registration Night. AHG is a Christ-entered character development program for girls age 5-18 This new troop will be meeting Wednesday evenings at St. Mary Mystical Rose Parish in Armada. Join with people throughout the world on this day to pray for peace. People of all faiths and cultures are invited to a prayer service to celebrate International Day of Prayer for Peace. Bishop Tom Gumbleton will lead this service and feature the Detroit Dearing Dance Company and the Capuchin Soup Kitchen Choir. This evening is sponsored by the Capuchin ministries including the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and the Solanus Casey Center. Security and lighted parking will be available. Churches, groups or community centers that RSVP by September 19 and then bring a delegation of at least 10 people to the service will receive Batik Peace Hangings, suitable for doors or hallways.
