Dcn. Steve* joins us just before the start of the Lenten season to talk about sin, repentance and faith.

Theology on Tap is a great time for young adults in their 20’s and 30’s to come together for fellowship, food and drinks, and hear a compelling talk from a dynamic speaker on the topics that impact us daily. Theology On Tap – Southeastern Michigan meets on the last Thursday of each month. Come any time after 6:30 to order some food and spend time with friends. The talk begins at 7:30.

Look for our upcoming events with these great speakers!

*Deacon Steve Thomashefski has served in the Catholic Church for the last 44 years through the Cursillo and Charismatic Movements, by directing parish missions and youth retreats, speaking at Catholic Evangelistic Rallies and various conferences. He has also done mission work in Eastern Europe and Africa since 1991. A successful carpet retailer, Steve sold his business in 1998 in order to devote more of his time to evangelization and mission within the Church. Since then, he has served as a Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan, as well as a Country Coordinator for Renewal Ministries in Hungary where he has led evangelistic rallies, and trained and supported lay communities in cooperation with the local bishops there.

Deacon Steve and Lucia have been married 42 years and are the parents of six grown children. Lucia is a member of the music ministry at Christ the King Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Deacon Steve serves at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
