“The Anonymous People” is an inspirational, award-winning documentary film highlighting the millions of Americans in long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs, lending their voices and their stories to a grassroots social justice movement that takes aim at changing the conversation from problems to solutions. Public screenings of this film are sweeping across our nation; shattering deeply embedded societal stereotypes and countering the stigma of addiction with the hope and reality of long-term recovery. This free public screening provides a unique opportunity for our Southeast Michigan community to experience a powerful, profoundly moving testimony to the presence, power and diversity of recovery.

This free public screening is being organized by the University of Michigan Students for Recovery and the Eastern Michigan University Students for Recovery
