Six Sacred Rules For Families: A Spirituality For The Home

  • Description: This basic guide to family spirituality not only provides parents with the practical tools they need but also offers the refreshing perspective that faith is not about adding to our to-do lists. Rather, it means doing what we already do with a new attentiveness. Drawing from the treasury of Ignatian spirituality and the breadth of Catholic tradition, the Muldoons present six sacred rules that encourage, stretch, and revitalize family faith—helping parents give their children basic lessons in learning to pray, deepening love, widening faith, and cultivating a spiritual vision of life. Midwest Catholic Apologetics Conference

  • Description: The Midwest Catholic Apologetics Conference is taking place January 18, 2014 at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church in Sterling Heights, MI. Speakers include Patrick Madrid, Steve Ray, Marcus Grodi, and today's guest, Gary Michuta. (Originally aired December 2, 2013)
  • Segment Guests:
    • Gary Michuta

Gary Michuta was born into a devote Catholic home. In the late 1980’s, many of Gary’s friends fell prey to anti-Catholic Fundamentalist Protestants and left the Faith. For him, the Catholic Faith was something to be believed, but it didn’t have anything to do with “real life” (i.e. philosophy, reason, sports, et al.). All that changed, when in 1989, Gary struck up a friendship with an anti-Catholic Fundamentalist and discovered that there is a rational, biblical, and historical case for Catholicism that is both compelling and exciting.
